We’re a pet food company, sure, but humans are at the heart of what we do too, which is why we make annual donations to our local food banks.
We currently work with the Hammersmith and Fulham food bank and Bassetlaw food bank in the UK.

For us, food has always - and will always - be at the heart of what we do. Whether that’s feeding our Butternutters or feeding those less fortunate. Imagine a world where all dogs get to eat a bowl of fresh food every day. Wouldn’t that be nice.
We’re currently donating our meals to Mayflower Sanctuary, Foal Farm, and Dogs4Rescue in the UK, and we do the same for the ISPCA in Ireland and De Koninklijke Hondenbescherming in The Netherlands.

When our co-founders, Kev & Dave, started Butternut Box, they were determined to build a company that would change the world for good. That’s why, for every new customer that signs up to Butternut Box, we donate the cost of a meal - or sometimes a meal itself - to dogs in need too.
So, if you’re reading this, and you’re one of our brilliant customers, thank you very much for helping us help more dogs. We really wouldn’t be able to do any of this without your support.

It’s estimated that there are 600 million stray dogs across the world. That's 600 million dogs without access to basic care and support. We're helping to change that by donating a portion of our funds towards projects that seek to vaccinate, spay and care for dogs who otherwise would be neglected.

Wouldn't it be nice if every dog went to bed every night happy and healthy?
