A Year’s Worth of Butternut Giveaway We are running a competition to give away a year’s worth of Butternut Box meals for your dog (the Giveaway). By entering the competition, you are indicating your agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.
1. The prize We will select one lucky winner to win a year’s worth of Butternut Box meals for their dog. A year’s worth of Butternut Box is calculated as 100% of your dog’s calorie requirements for 12 months, as calculated via our wizard on the date you set up your account. It is limited to our meals only. Whilst you have the option to include treats and other products in your box from time to time, you will be charged for those. Applicable delivery fees are still applicable.
2. How to get involved The Giveaway runs from 00.00 GMT on 26th June 2025 to 11.59 pm GMT on 27th September 2025. Entries received after this time will not be considered. Entry must be via one of two methods; 1) by Business WhatsApp (http://wa.me/+447411798858?text=I%20want%20to%20enter%20the%20competition) or 2) via our landing page (https://join.butternutbox.com/direct-sales-lead-gen/) You may not enter the competition more than once. No other methods of entry will be accepted. There is no entry fee to enter this competition. The winner will be selected at random on 28th September 2025.
3. Availability and eligibility The competition and prizes on offer are only available to people who are not and have never been a Butternut Box customer. The way we’ll determine whether someone is or has been a Butternut Box customer may include whether they already have an account with us, whether they have already purchased products from us, whether their credit or debit card has previously been used on our site, and/or whether their delivery address or cardholder address has previously been used on our site. You must be 18 or over and resident in the UK or Ireland at the time of entering the promotion. Butternut Box will not discriminate against any entrant on the basis of age, breed, national origin (or race, colour, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity.) The competition is not open to employees of Butternut Box. If you win, we will contact you via email to your email address registered with your Butternut Box account. You will have 48 hours after we email you to respond accepting the prize. Failure to respond will result in your prize being forfeited and another entrant selected. The first Butternut Box will be sent no later than 30 days after acceptance of the prize. Any entry that was made on behalf of an unknowing individual (i.e. someone who was not aware of being entered) will be automatically disqualified from the competition if their entry is selected as a winner. Winners must be the person redeeming the prize. You are not able to transfer the prize to anyone else.
4. Content Any content shared through this competition as well as any imagery of the winners captured by Butternut Box may be used in marketing or advertising material for Butternut Box in perpetuity. By agreeing to these terms and conditions, you agree to let us share your and your dog’s face with the world.
Winners may be required to participate in publicity related to the competition which may include publication of their name and photograph in any media.
5. Data Protection Personal data supplied during the course of the competition will be used by Butternut Box for the administration of the competition and may be passed on to third party suppliers only insofar as required for fulfilment/delivery/arrangement of the prize. Personal data will be used for no other purpose unless we have your consent. All personal data will be processed in accordance with the terms of our privacy policy found at https://butternutbox.com/privacy-policy. Except where consent has been provided, personal details of losing entrants will be deleted 12 months after the end of the competition period.
6. Disclaimers The prize is awarded to the winner of the Giveaway and is not transferable or exchangeable and no cash prize is available. In the event of unforeseen circumstances, we reserve the right, but are not obliged, to substitute any element of a prize for an alternative prize of equal or greater value. We accept no responsibility for entries not successfully completed due to a technical fault of any kind. We reserve the right to refuse entry or refuse to award the prize to anyone we suspect is in breach of these rules. Our decision regarding any aspect of the competition is final and binding. We reserve the right to cancel or terminate the competition at any time without prior notice. We reserve the right to amend the competition or these terms and conditions without prior notice. Any changes to these terms and conditions will be effective immediately upon posting to this webpage. Butternut Box, its associated companies, its agents and distributors will not be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits), damage or expense occurring as a result of taking up the prize (whether or not arising from any person’s negligence) except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law in which case that liability is limited to the minimum allowable by law. Your statutory rights are not affected. The competition will be governed by English law and entrants to the competition submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts. This competition is run by Dogmates Ltd, registered in England and Wales under company number 9328607 with its registered office at 9th Floor, 107 Cheapside, London, EC2V 6DN. All rights in the Butternut Box brand and the Giveaway competition shall at all times remain the exclusive property of Dogmates Ltd and/or its affiliate entities.
