I didn't get the email with the form/I deleted the email by mistake - can I get the form again? 

Don't worry, if you can’t find the email with the link to submit your Fetch a Wish request, just pop our Customer Love team a line who can send you a link to the form. Contact us HERE. 

When will I find out if my wish was chosen? Or when will my wish actually happen? 

If you paid for your order between 5th August to 31st August, you will find out by 2nd September if your wish has been chosen or not. We will then do our best to carry out the wish by the 30th of September. 

If you paid for your order between 1st September to 29th September, you will find out by 2nd October if your wish has been chosen or not. We will then do our best to carry out the wish by the 31st of October. 

If you paid for your order between 30th September to 31st October, you will find out by 3rd November if your wish has been chosen or not. We will then do our best to carry out the wish by the 1st of December. 

I added the meal to my box but removed it before payment was due. Can I still enter the competition? 

If you remove the meal before payment happens, your wish unfortunately cannot be considered.

FETCH A WISH T&CS

Please read and accept these terms and conditions before taking part in our Fetch a Wish competition.

1. Fetch a Wish

Fetch a Wish is a competition where each purchase of our Limited Edish meal during the competition gives you a chance to make your dog’s wish come true. By entering the competition, an entrant is indicating their agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.

2. The prizes

Each month during the competition, we will select one entrant to win the prize of having their dog’s wish come true, as described by you in your entry. We will be selecting the winners on the following dates: 

• 1st September (for entries submitted from 5th August - 31st August inclusive)

• 1st October (for entries submitted from 1st September - 29th September inclusive)

• 3rd November (for entries submitted from 30th September - 31st October inclusive)

3. How to get involved

1. The Fetch a Wish competition runs from 5th August, and will continue while stocks last. We will post on the landing page for this competition when the competition is closing with the final date. 

2. The first time you add a Limited Edish meal to your box, you will be sent a form via email to complete with your details, your dog’s details and details of your dog’s wish. This form must be completed by the date given in the email to be considered. 

3. Each completed and submitted form will count as the number of entries equal to the number of Limited Edish meals you purchase while the competition is live. For example, if you buy three Limited Edish meals in your box and you submit your form, you will receive three entries (for the same wish). If you buy two Limited Edish meals in your next box, this will get you two extra entries for the same wish. 

4. We will only accept one wish per Butternut customer. The way we will verify this may include by email address, residential address, human name, dog name and/or payment details. 

5. Further details of how to enter are via butternutbox.com/fetchawish 

6. The competition and prizes on offer are only available to residents aged over 18 in the UK. This excludes NI and ROI.

7. There is no entry fee to enter this competition but you must purchase a Limited Edish and complete and submit the form. The email address you enter on the form must correspond to the email address for your Butternut account, or your entry will not be considered. 

8. The winners will be selected via a draw, and will then be subject to internal criteria set by the Butternut Box team (as to whether the wish is possible logistically or financially). 

9. Butternut Box will not discriminate against any entrant on the basis of age, breed, national origin (or race, colour, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity.)

4. Availability and eligibility

1. The Fetch a Wish competition is not open to employees of Butternut Box.

2. If you win, we will contact you using the email address that you included on your form. You will have 72 hours after we email you to respond accepting the prize. Failure to respond will result in your prize being forfeited and another entrant selected.

3. Any entry that was made on behalf of an unknowing individual (i.e. someone who was not aware of being entered) will be automatically disqualified from the competition if their entry is selected as a winner.

4. Winners must be the person redeeming the prize.

5. Content

We will be filming the winner’s wish coming true, and will be using this content on our marketing and advertising materials and channels, including on socials. Any content shared through this competition and using the hashtag #fetchawish, as well as any imagery of the winners captured by Butternut Box, may be used in marketing or advertising material for Butternut Box in perpetuity. By agreeing to these terms and conditions, you agree to let us share your and your dog’s face with the world.

6. Data Protection

Personal data supplied during the course of the competition will be used by Butternut Box for the administration of the competition and may be passed on to third party suppliers only insofar as required for fulfilment/delivery/arrangement of the prize. Personal data will be used for no other purpose unless we have your consent. All personal data will be processed in accordance with our terms of our privacy policy found at https://butternutbox.com/privacy-policy. Except where consent has been provided, personal details of losing entrants will be deleted 12 months after the end of the competition period.

7. Disclaimers

1. Fetch a Wish prizes are awarded to the winners of the Fetch a Wish competition and are not transferable or exchangeable and no cash prize is available.

2. In the event of unforeseen circumstances, we reserve the right, but are not obliged, to substitute any element of a prize for an alternative prize of equal or greater value.

3. We accept no responsibility for entries not successfully completed due to a technical fault of any kind. 

4. We reserve the right to refuse entry or refuse to award the prize to anyone we suspect is in breach of these rules. 

5. Our decision regarding any aspect of the promotion is final and binding. 

6. We reserve the right to cancel or terminate the competition at any time without prior notice.  

7. We reserve the right to amend the competition or these terms and conditions without prior notice. Any changes to these terms and conditions will be effective immediately upon posting to this webpage. Any changes to the competition will be notified to entrants as soon as possible.

8. Butternut Box, its associated companies, its agents and distributors will not be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits), damage or expense occurring as a result of taking up the prize (whether or not arising from any person’s negligence) except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law in which case that liability is limited to the minimum allowable by law. Your statutory rights are not affected. 

9. We will not be liable for any content using the hashtag #fetchawish (except where we have originally posted such content).

10. The competition will be governed by English law and entrants to the competition submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.

11. This competition is run by Dogmates Ltd, registered in England and Wales under company number 9328607 with its registered office at 9th Floor, 107 Cheapside, London, EC2V 6DN. 

12. All rights in the Butternut Box brand and the Fetch a Wish campaign shall at all times remain the exclusive property of Dogmates Ltd and/or its affiliate entities.
