“Win a stay with your dog at Park Plaza Hotels” Promotional Rules
Butternut Box provides these “Win a stay with your dog at Park Plaza Hotels” Promotional Rules (the “Promotional Rules”) which set out the specific rules to the “Park Plaza Hotels & Butternut Box” promotion (the “Promotion”).
1. Rules: By entering the Promotion, you (the “Entrant”) are deemed to have read and agreed to abide by the Promotional Rules.
2. Entrants: Entrants must be 18 or over and resident in the United Kingdom at the time of entering the Promotion.
3. Duration of the Promotion: Enter the Promotion 12:00pm on 31st October 2024 GMT and 12:00am on 31st January 2025 GMT inclusive.
4. Entry Criteria: Entries may be made by either:
(a) purchasing a Butternut Box product in a Pets at Home store, entering your details and a photo of the purchase receipt which clearly shows the date, store location, Butternut Box product bought and amount spent on the competition page on Butternut Box’s website [add link]; or
(b) if you are a Butternut Box subscriber, entering the details of your Butternut Box subscription on the competition page on Butternut Box’s website.
No other method of entry will be accepted. Purchase receipts should be retained following submission as this may be required by the Promoters to verify a valid claim to a prize.
5. Conditions of entry: One purchase receipt gets you one entry. One subscription gets you one entry. There is no limit on the number of submissions per Entrant.
6. Winner selection: There are three prizes to win, as detailed in section 7. Three winners that meet the criteria defined by the Rules will be selected and one prize will be awarded to each winner. The winners will be selected on 3rd Feb 2025 at random by Butternut Box from among all eligible entries. The first valid entry drawn at random by Butternut Box will win the first prize, the second valid entry drawn at random by Butternut Box will win the second prize, and the third valid entry drawn at random by Butternut Box will win the third prize.

- Unforgettable dinner for two persons at the on-site restaurant at the Park Plaza hotel you’re staying at (including a bottle of house wine and non-alcoholic drinks)
- Exclusive photoshoot for your dog(s), capturing their personality.

Third prize - One night stay for up to two dogs and up to two pet parents, at one of our London Park Plaza properties, in a double Superior Room
- Delicious buffet breakfast for two persons
- Two return train tickets for up to two adults and up to two dogs, from any train station in the UK
- Exclusive photoshoot for your dog(s), capturing their personality and weekend break adventure
In the event of unforeseen circumstances, Butternut Box reserves the right, but is not obliged, to substitute any element of a prize for an alternative prize of equal or greater value.
Each element of the prize is non-transferable, non-exchangeable, has no monetary value and no cash alternative will be offered.
No element of the prize can be used in conjunction with any other prizes / special offers. Winners must be the person redeeming the prize. In the event of any dispute relating to the operation of the prize draw or the allocation of prizes, Butternut Box’s decision is final.
For the hotel stay: Upon hotel check-in, winners must show a valid ID (passport or driving license). Blackout dates apply. Any extras to be paid for by guest. Date of visit must be confirmed at least 7 days in advance. Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult 18 years and over. Children under the age of 3 go free. Up to two dogs to be allowed per room, and subject to the Pet Policy.
For the photoshoot: the rights to the images will be shared with the respective prize winners, Park Plaza Europe B.V. and Butternut Box to use in any lawful way. Guests may be asked to provide proof of Park Plaza custom upon arrival.
8. Collection of the prizes: Winners will be contacted by email only within 5 working days of the Promotion end date. Should Butternut Box not receive a response to the email by Friday 14th February 2025 or should the winner notify Butternut Box that they cannot accept the prize or is unable to confirm acceptance of the prize for any reason, Butternut Box reserves the right to award that prize to an alternative valid entry drawn at random and the original winner will have no right to any alternate prize or compensation.
9. General conditions: Winners may be required to participate in publicity related to the Promotion which may include the publication of their name and photograph in any media. Personal data supplied during the course of the Promotion will be used by Butternut Box for the administration of the Promotion and may be passed on to third party suppliers only insofar as required for fulfillment/delivery/arrangement of the prize. Personal data will be used for no other purpose unless we have that Entrant’s consent. All personal data will be processed in accordance with our terms of our privacy policy found at https://butternutbox.com/privacy-policy . Except where consent has been provided, personal details of losing Entrants will be deleted 12 months after the end of the Promotion period.

Butternut Box accepts no responsibility for entries not successfully completed due to a technical fault of any kind. Butternut Box reserves the right to refuse entry, or refuse to award the prize to anyone Butternut Box suspects is in breach of these Rules. Butternut Box reserves the right to hold void, cancel, suspend, or amend the Promotion where it becomes necessary to do so without prior notice. Any changes to the competition will be notified to Entrants as soon as possible by Butternut Box.
Butternut Box, its associated companies, its agents and distributors will not be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits), damage or expense occurring as a result of taking up the prize (whether or not arising from any person’s negligence) except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law in which case that liability is limited to the minimum allowable by law. Your statutory rights are not affected. The Promotion will be governed by English law and Entrants to the Promotion submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
